News and updates from York Place Dental, Carlisle

We are still here for you – but in a different way

Here-to-help

Covid19 is a highly infectious virus that has potentially serious consequences. It's spread via contact and via aerosols. Two examples of an aerosol are when you sneeze, and when a dentist uses a drill or water spray in your mouth. For this reason and for the good of all, we have stopped anything but emergency treatment.

If you're registered with us and you need help, here's what you need to know.

If you have a dental emergency

For example, but not exclusively…

  • -Pain that won't go away with painkillers
  • -Severe trauma to your teeth
  • -Increasing swelling in and around your mouth
  • -Ulcers that have been there for two weeks and aren't going away
  • -Uncontrolled bleeding that won't go away

If you think have a true emergency, we want to know. Don't worry if you're not sure - we are here, and we can help you. Just contact the practice – the details are at the end of this blog.

If you have Covid19 or are self-isolating

Please also contact us and we will tell you what to do.
