New Prescribing Regulations for Cosmetic Treatments from June 2025

Starting 1st June 2025, the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) will no longer allow medical professionals to prescribe cosmetic treatments remotely. This means that any prescription for Botox and similar treatments must follow a face-to-face consultation with a qualified prescriber.

These new rules aim to improve patient safety by making sure every treatment plan is based on a thorough, in-person assessment.
