If you've been considering Invisalign treatment, we'd like to let you know about an upcoming change to our fees.

From 7 September 2026, new UK tax rules introduced by HMRC mean that VAT at 20% must now be applied to the laboratory cost of Invisalign aligners. This is a statutory change to VAT legislation and not an increase introduced by York Place Dental. However, it does mean that the cost of Invisalign treatment will increase from this date.

Here's what that doesn't mean: your treatment fee isn't increasing by 20%.

The lab fee is just one part of the overall cost of your treatment. Most of what you pay covers your clinical care, surgery time, treatment planning, years of training and experience, and the ongoing support you receive throughout your journey. None of those costs are changing.

This increase only affects the laboratory component of your treatment, following the VAT changes introduced by the government.

When are our Invisalign prices changing?

Our current Invisalign Comprehensive fee of £4,599 will remain available for patients who book before 20 August 2026.

From 21 August 2026, our Invisalign Comprehensive fee will increase to £4,699.

This increase reflects the introduction of new HMRC VAT rules, which require 20% VAT to be applied to the laboratory cost of eligible Invisalign aligners from 7 September 2026. Rather than passing on the full additional cost, we've limited the increase to £100, helping to keep Invisalign as affordable as possible for our patients.
